28 civilians among the 39 casualties are killed when a person detonated himself in the Justice Palace in the center of Damascus

 

It rose to 28 at least including a child, a citizen woman and 4 lawyers, the number of civilian persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights among 39 persons at least, they were killed when a person detonated himself using an explosive belt in the Justice Palace, which is located in Nasr Street near al-Hamidiyyeh Market in the center of the capital Damascus, and among the total number of casualties there are 7 members of the police and guards of the Justice Palace, while there are 4 persons still unknown yet, it is not clear whether they are civilians or members of the police and the guards, also the explosion have injured tens of others, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation.
Another bomb attack also was carried out today in al-Rabwah area located on the road between the center of the capital and Dummar area located at the outskirts and suburbs of Damascus, it was caused by an explosion that targeted a restaurant in al-Rabwah area which frequently serve officers and security, military and politicians officials of the regime, which killed some of the persons who were in the restaurant.

This bombing is the second one within 5 days that targeted the capital Damascus, after the bombing in Bab al-Sghir located in Shaghour area at the center of Damascus, raising the number of casualties in this period to 113 persons, including more than 20 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and the police, and 54 Syrian citizens and Iraqi Shiites visitors, including 8 children under the age of eighteen and 11 female were killed in the first blast, while 28 civilian casualties were confirmed in the second bombing and 7 members of the police and the regime forces and guards of the building, the rest are still unidentified.
