Explosion in the countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man and clashes continue in the countryside of Homs

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
A loud explosion was heard after midnight yesterday at the outskirts of Jarjanaz town in the countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, it turned out to be caused by a land mine explosion in the area but no information about injuries yet.

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The clashes renewed between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization in the vicinity of Palmyra area and the road of Palmyra – Sokhna and other areas in the eastern countryside of Homs, amid air and missile bombardment that targeted the clash areas, and information about casualties, also the regime forces have achieved a new advancement yesterday evening and took control of points in the north of Palmyra area, also clashes are taking place in the western area of Talbiseh city in the northern countryside of Homs, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions, accompanied with intense shelling on the area.
