Airstrikes target north of Al-Raqqah and clashes continue in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor Airbase

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
Warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition carried out at midnight yesterday several airstrikes on areas in the northern outskirts of Al-Raqqah city, the main stronghold for the “Islamic State” organization in Syria, no information about casualties so far.

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The violent clashes lasted until after midnight yesterday in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airbase and in more areas south of the city, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization, after a broad offensive carried out by the organization since yesterday, amid renewed exchange of shelling between both parties and information about more casualties in their ranks, also the organization detonated a booby trapped vehicle yesterday night in Tal al-Radar area south of Deir Ezzor.
