Damascus clashes continue violently and the regime forces start an offensive to regain their lost positions and shell the outskirts of the capital with hundreds of shells and missiles

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the battle is still raging between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic factions of Rahman Corps Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and other factions in the ​​industrial area located in the outskirts of the neighborhoods of Jobar and Qaboun, which separates the factions’ controlled areas in Qaboun neighborhood form regime forces’ controlled areas in Jobar neighborhood at the eastern outskirts of the capital Damascus, where the factions managed to advance in several buildings, factories and companies in this area, while the regime forces try to recover the areas they lost and re-control the entire industrial area, where some buildings and factories controlled by factions in the western outskirts of Qaboun are still under the firearm of the regime forces, and the regime forces are violently shelling since the morning areas and locations controlled by the factions in Jobar neighborhood, and the activists of the Syrian Observatory for human rights monitored the regime targeting Jobar neighborhood with more than 300 shells and missiles, in conjunction with more than 30 raids carried out by warplanes on the neighborhood, and about 5 raids targeted areas controlled by the factions in Qaboun neighborhood.

Also the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were able to re-start a counterattack in al-Abbasiyyin Garage and managed to advance and regain control of it, where the Garage witnessed violent clashes between infiltrator fighters of the factions who were able to advance to the garage near Jobar neighborhood, while the capital Damascus is still witnessing a situation of paralysis, where there is no normal movement among the citizens in the neighborhoods around Jobar and nearby the clash areas, the while the center of the city witnessed cautious movement among people as a result of the fall of explosive shells and bullets on areas in the center of Damascus, where they fell on a building in Fares Khouri Street, between Aleppo Street and Kassaa area, the area around al-Abbasiyyin Hospital, George Khoury Square, the area around Berniyyah Street in the neighborhood of Rukn al-Din, al-Qosur neighborhood in the center of the capital, the area around al-Mohajereen neighborhood, orchards of al-Adwi, Abbasiyyin area and its Garage, Fares al-Khoury Street, al-Tejara area and Bab Touma in the center of the capital.
