Clashes of Palmyra desert cause casualties in the ranks of the gunmen loyal to the regime including an officer

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
A brigadier general of al-Baath Brigades loyal to the regime forces was killed along with several other members in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization in Palmyra desert in the eastern countryside of Homs, while clashes renewed between members of the organization against the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities this morning in the areas at Palmyra desert.
