The sound of a violent explosion was heard in the middle of the of the capital near ​​Damascus Police Department area, it is believed to be caused by the fall of a shell near the area located at Khalid Ibn al-Walid Street, no information about casualties.

In the same context, the violent clashes continue between the regime forces supported by loyalists of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalists against the Islamic factions of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, Rahman Corps and the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham , accompanied by violent airstrikes, where tens of airstrikes targeted areas in the north of Jobar and in the industrial area, coinciding with intense shelling by the regime forces using missiles believed to be ground-to-ground and artillery and rocket shells, they targeted the locations that the factions advanced to since the start of the violent offensive on the 19th of March  2017, where cross-sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the regime forces managed to re-advance today and regain control of the textile factories, Sadcob company complex and sites and parts west of it and other points between Jobar and al-Abbasiyyin, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.
