Violent Clashes in the countryside of al-Tabaqa in a new attack by the “Islamic State” organization in the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 5 fighters of the Syria Democratic Forces, they were killed in shelling, explosions and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern Al-Tabaqa of west of Al-Raqqah Today, while the clashes renewed between the Syria Democratic Forces against the “Islamic State” organization in areas at the western countryside of al-Tabaqa city, after a violent attack by the last mentioned on the area; in an attempt to advance and regain control of areas it lost earlier in favor of the Syria Democratic Forces, the clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling between both parties, amid the flight of the International Coalition’s warplanes and targeting sites of the organization. The clashes have killed several members of the “Islamic State” organization and the bodies of most of them are with the Syria Democratic Forces.
