Factions start a new battle in Yarmouk valley against Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the rebel and Islamic factions started targeting areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization in the western countryside of Daraa, in preparation for an attack that followed the shelling in a battle called “Nazea al-Khanajer”, in order to restore control of the areas they have lost in the past weeks, as well as to advance on the expense of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid and reduce its controlled area in the western countryside of Daraa, after the attack which was carried out by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid on the western countryside of Daraa, during of which it controlled several areas on the 20th of February 2017, and during of which tens of fighters of the factions and Jaysh Khal id Ibn al-Walid were killed; and tens of civilians also were killed and wounded, and the Syrian Observatory was informed that that the factions targeted using heavy machineguns and shells areas in the fronts of Jellin and Sahem Golan and other areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, followed by the outbreak of clashes between fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions against fighters of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid in areas in Yarmouk valley in the western countryside of Daraa.
