Logistical obstacles delay the carrying out of the demographic change agreement and the continuation of the exchange operation between Idlib fighters and fighters of Al-Fu’ah

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by several reliable sources that until now the agreement of the four cities (Madaya, Zabadani, Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah) has not been varied out yet, it was scheduled to start on the morning  of Wednesday the 12th of April 2017, the sources confirmed that the delay of carrying out the agreement came due to logistical problems related to the arrival of buses to the towns of Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya, which are inhabited by Shiite citizens in the northeastern countryside of Idlib.

While an operation of exchange of prisoners and bodies took place between the factions of Idlib and the fighters of Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya, it took place dawn of today Wednesday, during of which they exchanged about 20 persons, mostly fighters from the factions of Idlib, in exchange of 12 prisoners at least and about 10 bodies of gunmen of Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya, and the exchange operation took place by mediation by the Syrian Red Crescent.

While the residents of the four cities continue their preparations to get out of their towns, within the framework of carrying out the Agreement.
