Intensive artillery and missile strikes target east of the capital Damascus with violent clashes and raids in an attempt to advance by the regime forces

Damascus province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic factions of the Rahman Corps, the Jaysh al-Islam, the Islamic movement of Ahrar al-Sham and Fajr al-Umma Brigade in areas in the vicinity of Qaboun neighborhood and its eastern outskirts, in a renewed attempt by the regime forces to achieve advancement at the expense of the factions, and the continuous clashes were accompanied by launching more than 12 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with launching more than 25 artillery and missile shells on places in Qaboun area and on the clash areas, also the warplanes targeted areas in Qaboun east of the capital, no information about casualties.
