The Turkish attack on the Kurdish Forces’ position kills 28 fighters at least including commander and workers of the media center
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that it rose to 28 at least, the number of fighters of YPG who were killed in the Turkish airstrikes which targeted Qarrah Jokh area at the Syrian – Iraqi border in the far countryside of Qameshly.
The reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that among the 28 casualties there are a female commander of YPG, in addition to workers of Kurdish Forces’ media center, all of them were killed in the strikes that took place dawn of today Tuesday 25th of April 2017, which targeted a media center of the Kurdish Forces and a the broadcast station of a local radio station in hill in Qarrah Jokh area at the Syrian – Iraqi border in the far countryside of Qameshly, in conjunction with another bombing by a squadron of warplanes for the area of Sinjar (Shinkal) on the opposite side of the Iraqi border, where in addition to the media center; these airstrikes targeted leadership centers of the Kurdish forces in the area, where the intense bombing destroyed headquarters, media center and an archive center in addition to other sections of the bombed area.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that there are about 20 injured persons and some of them are still in critical condition, which may raise the death toll.
