“Euphrates Wrath” operation forces control al-Tabaqa city west of Al-Raqqah province almost completely

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The International Coalition’s warplanes bombed after midnight of yesterday al-Raqqah city, the main stronghold for the “Islamic State” organization in Syria, which killed 6 civilians including 4 women and 5 of them are from one family, they were killed in bombing by the International Coalition’s warplanes on areas west of the Church Roundabout in al-Tabaqa city several days ago.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes are still taking place at a violent pace between the Syria Democratic Forces supported by the warplanes of the International Coalition and US Special Forces against members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the Old city of al-Tabaqa, these clashes enabled the Syria Democratic Forces and their supporting forces with the support of the International Coalition’s warplanes to achieve a new advancement, where now they control more than 50% of the old city of al-Tabaqa and the 3 neighborhood of the dam adjacent to the southern bank of the Euphrates River near the Euphrates Dam, after almost completely controlling the old city of al-Tabaqa, while the clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling, explosions and strikes of the International Coalition, which caused civilian casualties and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.
