About 11 hours after the start of the 4th agreement in Syria pass without casualties but with violations mostly in the northern countryside of Hama

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights continues to monitor the events and developments in the areas that were specified as “ease of escalation” areas, which extend from the Syrian north to the Syrian south including Idlib province and the northern countryside of both Hama and Homs and the Eastern Ghouta and the Syrian south, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the helicopters’ dropping of 3 barrel bombs a little while ago on areas in the town of Lataminah town located in the northern countryside of Hama, while the town of Lataminah has witnessed since 03:00 am of today Saturday the 6^th of May 2017 and until now shelling with more than 40 rocket and artillery shells, while the northern countryside of Hama has witnessed since the start of the agreement shelling by the regime forces on Al-Latamneh and KafrZitta, and targeting by the warplanes using missiles and heavy machineguns areas in the agricultural lands between the towns of Al-Lataminah and Zallaqiyyat, in addition to clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions in areas at the vicinity of al-Zallaqiyyat village which is located hundreds of meters away from the Halfaya town in northern countryside of Hama.

Also the Syrian Observatory documented shelling by the regime forces on the neighborhoods of Qaboun and Tishreen in the eastern outskirts of the capital Damascus in the morning of today Saturday, where the regime forces targeted areas in the neighborhood of Qaboun with more than 15 shells, in conjunction with targeting the adjacent neighborhood of Tishreen which caused material damage, but no information about casualties, while two explosions were heard in ​​Jaramana area in the suburbs of the capital, caused by the fall of 2 shells on places in Kornish al-Janayen and al-Rawda neighborhood in the area .

Also sporadic clashes took place after midnight of yesterday in ​​Bayonne town area in the northern countryside of Aleppo between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, also the Syrian Observatory documented after the middle of Friday night the sounds of explosions in the middle countryside of Daraa, believed to be caused by the fall of shells launched by the regime forces on Alma area, in addition to the sound of an explosion heard minutes after the start of the ceasefire agreement, where several sources confirmed that the explosion was caused by targeting TeirMa’alah area by a missile which caused material damage, no information about casualties so far.

These violations of ceasefire and agreement of “de-escalation zones” have not caused any civilian casualties until now, where this ceasefire operation has started in Syrian territory at 12 am on Saturday the 6^th of 2017.

This truce is the 4^th one in Syria and the first truce in 2017, after 3 truces took place last year in 2016 which are: the Russian – Turkish truce which started at 12:00 am on Friday the 30th of December 2016, in addition to the Russian – American ceasefire agreement which was applied in most of the Syrian areas and lasted from 07:00 pm on the 12^th of September 2016 until 07:00 pm on 19^th of the same month, also it was preceded by a truce and a ceasefire in Syria back on 27^th of February 2016 but it collapsed in the last third of April 2016, and the military machines returned to kill and escalate the bombing and shelling on most of the Syrian areas.
