A new attack by the “Islamic State” organization in attempt to close main road of Aleppo – Hama causes casualties and injuries in the ranks of the regime forces

Hama province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes took place dawn of today the 12th of May 2017 between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the ” ISIS ” organization in the area between al-Salamiyah road, Athraya, and Khanaser after an attack by the ” ISIS ” organization in  frequent attempts to disperse the regime forces on this road which is considered as main artery links between regime forces’ controlled areas in Aleppo and the rest of regime forces’ controlled areas in the middle and south of Syria, and the clashes caused the death and injury of 14 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, and confirmed information about the death of 5 members including a major so far, and also information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties, while the warplanes carried out strikes targeting places in al-Teloul al-Hmr village in the southern countryside of Hama, also a fighter of the Islamic factions was killed during clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the northern countryside of Hama.
