Syrian Elite Forces and Syria Democratic Forces continue their attack towards Al-Raqqah city and hundreds of citizens displace towards their controlled areas
Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes violently continue between the Syria democratic forces supported by the Syrian Elite Forces and US Special Forces against the “Islamic State” organization in 3 areas in the countryside of al-Raqqah, after the continued violent attack by the first party on the organization’s sites since Friday the 12th of May, where the forces of “Euphrates Wrath” operation were able to achieve advancement and control since yesterday on the farms of Yarmouk, Maysaloun, Ansar, al-Rafqah and Salhiya, and they managed to achieve an important advancement, where the clashes was accompanied by violent exchange of targeting between both parties, which caused confirmed human losses in the ranks of both parties.
Also the northern countryside of al-Raqqah witnessed displacement that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was able to observe and document, it included hundreds of citizens who headed towards areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces and the Syrian Elite Forces in northern countryside of al-Raqqah.
A video by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights shows the displacement of citizens towards areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces and the Syrian elite forces who are supported by the International Coalition in the countryside of Al-Raqqah, after the last mentioned managed to advance in the area and reduce size of the “Islamic State” organization’s controlled areas and get closer to the Al-Raqqah city.
