Syrian Elite forces and Syria Democratic Forces advance in one of the last villages in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah and 14 bodies at least were found during the inspection operations

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes continue between the Syria Democratic Forces and the Syrian Elite Forces supported by International Coalition’s warplanes against the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah city, where the “Euphrates Wrath” operation forces have been able to achieve a new advancement and control large areas of Hamrat al-Nasser village “Hamrat Jmasa” which is several kilometers away from Al-Raqqah city, which is considered along with the village of Hamrat Blasem the last villages and large residential centers that are controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, while the western countryside of al-Raqqa witnessed counter attacks carried out by members of the “Islamic State” organization on areas in the western Sahlabiyya villages and other sites the organization was able to advance to, in an attempt by members of the organization to disperse fighters of the “Euphrates Wrath” operation and recover their lost sites, the clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling between both parties, also the Syria Democratic Forces continue inspecting the areas they advanced to with the Elite Forces in the eastern and western countryside of Al-Raqqah, where at least 14 bodies of the organization’s members were found killed in the shelling and clashes during the past days.
