The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights

Massacre claims the lives of 16 civilians mostly displaced, children and women in the western countryside of Al-Raqqah one day after massacres that killed 19 civilians

 

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: it rose to 16 at least, the number of persons who were killed and documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, who were killed in a massacre carried out by the International Coalition’s warplanes which targeted at the midnight of yesterday al-Baruda village, which is about 15 kilometers west of Al-Raqqah city at the southern banks of the Euphrates River; and about 22 km east of Al-Tabaqa city. The casualties are: a woman and 5 of her children, a man, his wife, their daughter and a young man of one family, in addition to a man and 2 of his wives, another man and his wife and another woman, most of them displaced earlier from Sokhna town, which is controlled by the organization in the eastern countryside of Homs, which witnessed heavy shelling by Russian warplanes and regime’s warplanes and helicopters, and the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights learned that the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation and because some persons are missing, also the bombardment caused destruction in the citizens’ property and caused material damage, while some of the citizens were permanently disabled as a result of the violent strikes that targeted this village.
