About160 raids, barrels and missiles target the neighborhoods of Daraa city during 48 hours of intense shelling in the most violent escalation in the city since the start of ceasefire agreement

Daraa province: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Daraa city has been witnessing since Wednesday morning continued escalation for the third day on a raw by the regime forces, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented regime’s warplanes carrying out at least 12 raids targeted areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, while the regime forces launched two missiles believed to be ground-to-ground on areas in Daraa al-Balad, in conjunction with dropping 9 barrels bombs by the regime’s helicopters on the same areas, rising to 157, the number of airstrikes, barrel bombs and missiles that targeted Daraa city within the last 48 hours, where the Syrian Observatory for human rights since the morning of the 22nd of May 2017 documented 47 airstrikes by regime’s warplanes, 37 barrels bombs dropped by regime’s helicopters, 48 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, and more than 25 artillery and rocket shells , which coincided with renewed clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham, in an attempt by both parties to advance at the expense of each other. The shelling, clashes and bombardment on regime’s controlled areas in the city have killed civilians citizens ,fighters and members of the regime forces.
