At least 34 civilians killed by the “Islamic State” organization within 7 days of shelling on Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: 4 children were killed due to shelling by the “Islamic State” organization on areas controlled by the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city, rising to 34 at least, including 7 children and 2 women, the number of persons who were killed due to shelling by the organization on areas controlled by the regime forces in Deir Ezzor city, since the 18th of May 2017 until yesterday night the 24th of the same month.

In the same context, clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization in the vicinity of the Brigade 137 and Jam’eyyat al-Rowwad and al-Bogeleyyah neighborhood, accompanied by bombing by warplanes on the clash areas, also clashes took place in Deir Ezzor city yesterday the 24th of May 2017 between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization after an attack by members of the organization in regime forces’ controlled areas in the neighborhoods of al-Hwiqa and Rashdiyyah, where members of the organization were able to advance in al-Hwiqa neighbourhood, the clashes were accompanied by a member of the organization detonating himself in a booby trapped vehicle.
