Discontent increase among people of al-Bab city and the former residents of Jabal al-Sheikh Aqeel accuse the Turkish forces of demolishing homes belong to more than 450 families used to live in the mountain

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that resentment is escalating in al-Bab city in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, by the families who used to live in Jabal al-Sheikh Aqeel at the outskirts of the city, due to the takeover of the Turkish forces for homes belong to more than 450 families used to live in Jabal al-Sheikh Aqeel, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained a copy of a video showing a demonstration that took place on Friday the 26th of May 2017, which brought together tens of people of Jabal al-Sheikh Aqeel in al-Bab city, in which the civilians demanded “their rights in Jabal al-Sheikh Aqeel”, and an elderly man appeared in the video asserting that houses and dwellings on Jabal al-Sheikh Aqeel “were not demolished by shelling but were bulldozed by Turkish bulldozers after the exit of Daesh and that there are pictures prove it”,  he also said: “We came out to demand our rights from what the criminal Turkish Army did, from demolishing our homes with its foundations and our documents, and if it has no past then we have a past, and it demolished our past, and we the sons of Jabal Aqeel, the sons of the free people, we bow only to Allah, and we will continue to peacefully claim until our rights and our children’s rights are fully secured after we have been displaced”

A demonstration of tens of people of Jabal al-Shekh Aqeel at the outskirts of al-Bab city accuse the Turkish Army of demolishing their houses and taking over Jabal al-Shekh Aqeel area, and not allowing them to get back or get near the area, they also demanded for returning their rights back.
