The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights

Months after coining its own coins… the “Islamic State” organization restricts the sale and purchase to its currency and warns “violators”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that the “Islamic State” organization issued a decision and generalized it in all of its controlled areas in Syria, which stipulates “limiting purchasing and selling in the Islamic State’s controlled areas by its currency (Dinar and Dirham)”, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the organization circularized the decision and warned the “violators of this decision” to be punished with a sentence ranging from prison time to the closure of their shop and paying a fine.
