Days after the massacre of al-Baroudeh village… the Syria Democratic Forces besiege Mansoura and Hunaida and control the village with two others

the clashes continues between the Syria democratic forces supported by the US Special Forces and the International Coalition’s warplanes against the “Islamic State” organization in the southern banks of the Euphrates River, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces managed to control three villages: al-Baroudeh, al-Matyourah and al-Hawrah, after clashes against the organization.

The process of controlling these 3 villages came after the Syria Democratic Forces managed to pass the Euphrates river using wooden bridges, following their failure days ago to take control of al-Baath Dam, which is located about 18 kilometers to the east of the strategic Dam of Euphrates, where this advancement for the Syria Democratic Forces with its earlier advancement a few days ago east of Al-Tabaqa towards the south, enabled them to besiege Mansoura town and Hunaida village, which is located about 15 kilometers east of Al-Tabaqa city, and about 20 km west of Al-Raqqah city the stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization in Syria, in an attempt by the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces to extend their controlled areas in the countryside of Al-Raqqah, in if the Syria Democratic Forces managed to control Mansoura and Hunaida, they will have taken control of about 40 kilometers of the southern banks of the Euphrates River in the countryside of Al-Raqqah.
