Attack by the western-and-US-backed factions without aerial support on sites of the regime forces in the Syrian Desert

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that violent clashes are taking place since dawn of today Wednesday the 31st of May 2017, between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian, Arab and Asian nationalities against Jaysh Usoud al-Sharqiyyah and the Forces of Ahmed al-Abdu and fighters and other factions supported by the United States of America and Western countries in areas in the Syrian desert, after a counter attack by fighters of the factions on sites of the regime forces in the southeastern countryside of Homs.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian observatory that the violent clashes are concentrated in the vicinity of Zaza checkpoint and in places in the Sabea’ Biyar area in the southeastern desert of Homs, in an attempt by the factions to advance in the area take control of it from the regime forces, the sources also confirmed that the factions attacked sites of the regime forces without air support.
