SDF advance west of Al-Raqqah and reach area about 3 km away of the city and clashes are taking place to hold their ground

Al-Raqqah Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition bombed after midnight of yesterday places in the areas of al-Rihaniyah and al-Forusiyya and other areas in Al-Raqqah city, the main stronghold for the “Islamic State” organization in Syria, no information about casualties, also a man was killed due to explosion of a landmine planted earlier by the organization at Al Rabiah Farm in the countryside f Al-Raqqah.
In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by reliable sources that the Syria Democratic Forces supported by US special forces and the International Coalition’s warplanes, were able to achieve a new advancement in the western front of Al-Raqqah, where they advanced and took control of al-Khatuniyyah village, while violent clashes are taking place between them against the “Islamic State” organization in the village of Hawi al-Hawa, in an attempt by the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces to control it, and if they were able to do that they would be closer to Al-Raqqah city from its west side, and would be about 3 km away from the western entrance of the city.
