More than 110 air and ground strikes today raise to about 500, the number of airstrikes, missiles, shells, and barrel bombs targeted Daraa city within the past 48 hours

Daraa city is witnessing continuous shelling since the dawn of yesterday the 3rd of June 2017, in bombardment escalation by the regime forces, warplanes and helicopters on the city, where since the morning of Monday the 5th of June 2017 the Syrian Observatory for Human rights documented 22 barrel bombs dropped by the regime’s helicopters on the neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad and other areas in the city, in conjunction with targeting the same areas with about 35 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground launched by the regime forces, and the regime forces also shelled areas in the city with more than 54 artillery and rocket shells, amid an absence of the warplanes which didn’t target the city today.

And with this renewed escalation of ground and air bombardment today in the city of Daraa, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented about 500 artillery, missile and air strikes and raids carried out by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, warplanes and helicopters on the city of Daraa since the dawn of Thursday, A total of 52 raids by warplanes and helicopters, 145 missiles believed to be ground to ground launched by the regime forces, 110 barrels bombs dropped by regime’s helicopters on the city, and at least 190 artillery and rocket shells, which caused casualties and injuries and massive damage to the properties of the citizens.
