Escalated airstrikes on several areas in Deir Ezzor and continued clashes on the road between Palmyra and Sokhna

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: warplanes shelled areas in Palmyra desert and Al-Sokhna city in the eastern countryside of Homs, and no information about injuries, in conjunction with continued clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization in areas on the road of Palmyra – al-Sokhna in the northeastern desert of Palmyra, and the clashes are accompanied by an exchange of shelling between both parties, which caused human losses.

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: violent clashes are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the “Islamic State” organization in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airbase and al-Rasafa neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city, and the clashes are accompanied by shelling by warplanes on areas in the neighborhoods of Al-Omal, Al-Rasafa, al-Hamidiyah, al-Panorama, and the villages of Marat, Hatla, and al-Jafra, and no information about injuries.
