Clashes accompanied by shelling in Daraa City and areas in its western countryside
Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces dropped after midnight yesterday a number of explosive cylinders on areas in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, amid clashes between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and the rebel and Islamic factions on the other at the center of Daraa Camp. No casualties were reported. Simultaneously, a number of missiles, which are believed to be ground-to-ground, were launched on areas in Daraa Al-Balad and an explosive device blasted on the road connecting Al-Masifra and Eastern Al-Karak towns in the eastern countryside of Daraa, resulting in the death of a civilian in addition to material damages. Moreover, the regime forces opened heavy fire after midnight yesterday on areas in Al-Naemeh town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, whereas areas in the Western Al-Gharya town in the eastern countryside of Daraa were shelled at the same time by the regime forces. No casualties were reported. Clashes also broke out yesterday midnight between Jaysh Khalid Bin Walid on one hand against the rebel and Islamic factions on the other in the vicinity of Saham Al-Jawlan in the western countryside of Daraa. Casualties were reported on both sides.
