Injury of Coalition solders delay the progress process towards the old city from Bab Baghdad area in the stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization in Syria

Al-Raqqa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the pace of clashes near the walls of the old city in al-Raqqa city between “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces against the “Islamic State” organization have decreased, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the clashes concentrated near Bab Baghdad in the west of al-Sinaa neighborhood at the walls of the old city in the stronghold of the “Islamic State” organization in Syria, where the pace of clashes between both parties declined, after an attempt by the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces to go deep into the center of al-Raqqa and control the neighborhoods inside the old city.

Cross sources asserted to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the decreasing pace of clashes between the forces of the International Coalition, Syria Democratic Forces and Syrian Elite Forces against the “Islamic State” organization in the front located between al-Sinaa neighborhood and the old city from Bab Baghdad side, came as a result of injuries of the International Coalition’s soldiers of western nationalities, including 2 soldiers in serious conditions, and the sources asserted to the Syrian Observatory that a helicopter landed at the outskirts of al-Raqqa city, and transferred the injured to get treatment, and it is not known whether the injured who are in serious conditions have died or not, where they were injured in the early hours of the morning.
