For the 3rd day in a row, air and land escalation target the last faction-controlled neighbourhood east of the capital Damascus

Damascus province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: clashes took place after midnight of yesterday between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic factions in Jobar neighborhood area at the outskirts of the capital, in an attempt by the regime forces to advance and control new areas and tighten the grip on the neighborhood, accompanied by shelling by the regime forces on areas in the neighbourhood and by 7 raids by warplanes on areas in the neighbourhood.
