In the highest daily death tall since the start of the grand battle of Al-Raqqah… 45 dead from the “Islamic State” organization in the clashes and continued shelling in the city

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the “Islamic State” organization is fighting desperately to prevent the advancement of the forces of the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation in Al-Raqqah city, where violent clashes took place throughout the day in al-Batani neighborhood east of Al-Raqqah city and in the western section of al-Bareed neighborhood northwest of Al-Raqqah city, between the “Islamic State” organization against the Syria Democratic Forces and the US Special Forces, and also between members of the organization against the Syrian Elite Forces supported by the US Special Forces in areas in the west of al-Sinaa at the old city walls, where the organization depends on the counter attacks to prevent the forces of the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation from advancing in the aforementioned areas, the violent clashes are accompanied by intense aerial bombardment warplanes of the International Coalition in addition to missile shelling on areas controlled by the organization in Al-Raqqah city, in the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of at least 45 members of the “Islamic State” organization in the aerial bombardment and clashes in the neighborhoods itself in the last 24 hours, the vast majority of them were killed by aerial bombardment by the International Coalition warplanes, where this number of casualties is the highest daily casualty of the organization since announcing the grand battle of Al-Raqqah, and the Syrian Observatory documented today the death of 3 fighters from the Syria Democratic forces, who were killed in shelling explosions and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization in Al-Raqqah city and its countryside, raising to at least 14, the number of fighters who have been documented in the same circumstances in the past 24 hours.
