Intense drop of barrel bombs and shells over Daraa city and its countryside

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the helicopter dropped this morning 12 barrel bombs at least on areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, accompanied by intense shelling by the regime forces on areas in Daraa al-Balad, coincided with the dropping 8 barrel bombs on Gharz area east of the city, while several members of the regime forces were killed yesterday night during clashes against the rebel and Islamic factions in the neighbourhood of Tariq al-Sadd in Daraa city, while a citizen was killed and several others were injured after the fall of several shells this morning on areas in al-Dahiya neighborhood in Daraa city which is under the control of the regime forces, also it rose to 17, the number of missiles believed to be ground-to-ground launched by the regime forces since midnight of yesterday until now on areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, while the regime forces opened heavy machineguns’ fire after midnight yesterday on areas in al-Naemeh town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, which caused material damage, the regime forces also shelled areas in the vicinity of the towns of Al-Muzeireeb, Tal Shehab and al-Yadudeh in the western and northwestern countryside of Daraa and the town of Om al-Mayathen, while the regime forces heavily shelled areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city, and no information about casualties, while unidentified gunmen attempted to assassinate a leader in the Movement of Ahrar al-Sham in the countryside of Daraa city which injured him.
