Regime forces release the doctor Maria Sha’bo in addition to another activist

SOHR was informed that regime forces released a Syrian activist from Adra prison today after detaining her for a year in the charge of belonging to a terrorist organization, she was included in the presidential pardon.
SOHR was also informed that it is awaiting for another activist to be released from the central prison of Homs for bail, she was also detained for a year in the charge of communicating with rebels.
Trused sources reported to SOHR that regime forces released today the Doctor Maria Bahjat Sha’bo who was arrested in the 2nd of November this year with two activists ( Jadi’ Novel, Omar al-Sha’ar ) in the charge of participating a workshop in Human Rights in Beirut, her relatives reports to SOHR that she was in Beirut for the participating in a medical conference
We in SOHR demand The UN mediator in the Syrian conflict, Staffan de Mistura to push on the regime to release more than 200,000 detainees in regime prisons, such as ( Abdul Aziz al-Khaier, Khalil Ma’touq, Hussien Essu, Mazin Darwish, and Bassam Sahyouni ), in fears that they have the fate of thousands of detainees who were tortured to death in regime prisons.
