Regime authorities release hundreds of prisoners and inmates from Damascus Central Prison and release scores of detainees in their security branches
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the authorities of Bashar al-Assad regime released a new batch of detainees from its prisons, where it rose to 443, the number of detainees who were released from Damascus Central Prisons (Adra Prison), in addition to releasing 90 female detainees who were arrested at different times on charges related to their relatives who joined the opposition and demonstrations in the light of the Syrian revolution, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also learned that more detainees will be released in the upcoming days until the number of the released detainees reaches 1023.
Reliable sources also confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that tens of detainees in the branches of the security intelligence of Bashar al-Assad regime were released, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights could not document their numbers because they come from different geographical areas.
