5 dead, mostly children and female citizens, in raids targeting a town in Al-Quneitra central countryside

Al-Quneitra Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces shelled areas in Al-Hamidiya town in the central sector of Al-Quneitra countryside, while opening heavy fire on areas in the town. In addition, warplanes shelled this morning areas in Nab’ Al-Sakhr town in the central sector of Al-Quneitra countryside, causing the death of 5 civilians: a female citizen, her two daughters, a man and a girl and the injury of others. The number of martyrs is likely to rise because of the critical condition of some of the injured. It is worth mentioning that Al-Quneitra countryside has been witnessing for the last few days violent clashes between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and the rebel and Islamic factions along with Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham on the other. The latter, , being the first party to start the fighting by taking control of areas in the vicinity of Al-Ba’ath city and at its outskirts, before the regime forces manage to regain control over the areas they lost to them by means of intensive shelling.
