Raids target Al-Sukhnah and its desert and clashes continue on the road connecting Al-Sukhnah with Palmyra and in areas in its desert

Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: violent clashes continue between the regime forces and their allied militiamen, of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, on one hand and against the “Islamic State” organization on the other in areas in the eastern desert of Palmyra. Clashes were centered near Hmyma and in the vicinity of Al-Hayyal field and coincided with other clashes east of Palmyra-Al-Sukhnah road, amid intensive raids carried out by the warplanes targeting areas in Al-Sukhnah town and Al-Tayba area in the eastern countryside of Homs and shelling by the regime forces on areas of clashes.
