Negotiations failed between the IS, Jabhat al-Nusra and Islamic battalions

Sources from Aleppo and al-Raqqa reported to SOHR that Jabhat al-Nusra, al-Muhajren wa al-Ansar, and Islamic battalions have agreed in a meeting to send the leader of al-Muhajren wa al-Ansar to al-Raqqa city to talk to leaders in the IS, in order to reach a formula for a case-fire between the two sides, and focus on fighting the regime on all the fronts, without the using of each others’s lands.

The sources also informed SOHR that the leader of al-Muhajren wa al-Ansar army met with the deputy of the ” war minister ” in the IS, the deputy informed the leader that the IS refused this formula because ” some of these battalions are allied to the west even if they are Muslims, they have fought the IS to satisfy the west ” and he asked the leader to pledge allegiance to Abo Bakr al-Baghdadi, but the leader refused saying :: ” I pledged allegiance to the Amir of al-Quqaz state and I can not go back “. The two sides failed to reach an agreement in this round of talks, and the leader of al-Muhajreen Wa al-Ansar army went back to fight against regime forces in Aleppo fronts.

It is worth to mention that dozens of fighters from Jabhat al-Nusra pledged allegiance to the IS northeast of Aleppo.
