Regime forces break the truce in the Eastern Ghouta again with a shell targeted Jesrin

Rif Dimashq province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces launched a shell on area in the outskirts of Jesrin in the Eastern Ghouta, thus the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented a new breach of the Syrian south truce that began on the afternoon of the 22nd of July 2017, where the Syrian Observatory published that a warplane carry out a raid on area in Otaya town in Al-Marj area in the Eastern Ghouta, which is controlled by Jaysh al-Islam, which caused the death of a child and injured 7 others citizens, including a baby girl, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and this is considered the 3rd batch of casualties and wounded who have been killed and injured in the eastern Ghouta since the truce began on the 22nd of July 2017, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented that warplanes targeted at sundown on the 24th of July Arbin city and its outskirts by 6 raids, where every raid the warplanes launched two rockets which in injured 6 people, while a warplane -whose identity is yet to be known whether it was Russian or regime’s warplane- carried out a raid during which it targeted the city by 8 rockets at the same time which caused a massacre of 8 civilians including a man and 2 of his children and a woman and 2 of her children and another boy, in addition to injuring about 30 others many of them are children, also 4 citizens were killed including a citizen woman and about 15 others were injured as a result of bombing by warplanes on the 25th of July 2017 on Arbin city, while today a child was killed and 7 others were injured in shelling on Otaya.

The activists of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored at sundown on Tuesday the entry of 3 trucks loaded with medical and food supplies through the crossing of Al-Wafedin Camp, and cross sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the trucks were unloaded on the lines of contact between the regime forces and Jaish al-Islam, and then Jaish al-Islam, the Local Council of the city and the Red Crescent team have received the supplies which later entered to Douma city, and this is the first shipment of aid entering the Eastern Ghouta since the beginning of the truce.

The Syrian Observatory published on Monday that the Russian forces arriving at the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, haven’t also set any of their checkpoints and haven’t been deployed on the contact lines in the Eastern Ghouta after they arrived to the area, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had obtained information from reliable sources that it is expected to deploy Russian military police forces to the contact lines between the factions operating in the Eastern Ghouta and the regime forces and their allied militiamen, in order to ensure full observance of the ceasefire. Meanwhile, sources confirmed that most of the Russian soldiers deployed are Russian Muslims who were brought successively by the Russian forces earlier.
