About 15 members of the “Islamic State” organization were killed within 24 hours of airstrikes by warplanes in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that warplanes targeted places in the Factories Area at the northern entrance of Deir Ezzor city, in conjunction with raids on the Panorama area south of the city, and on another areas in Marat village, no information about casualties, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that warplanes whose identity was not known whether they were belong to the Coalition or whether they were Russian; targeted a car belongs to the “Islamic State” organization, which caused the death of 2 members of the organization, while another raid targeted a checkpoint of the organization in Ghernata town killing 5 members of the organization, also the Syrian Observatory documented the killing at least 4 members in targeting for the Islamic Company’s headquarters in the raids on Al-Mayadeen city on Friday morning the 28th of July 2017, in addition to the death of a civilian prisoner at the organization’s prisons and injured others of varying severity, raising to 13 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed on the 27th and 28th of July 2017 in the raids on al-Bokamal,  Gharanij, Al-Mayadeen and al-Buhamam in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

In the same context, warplanes carried out airstrikes on places in al-Tayba area, located in the eastern stretch of Al-Mayadeen city in the eastern countryside for Deir Ezzor, which caused several casualties and wounded; two days after a massacre by warplanes in the same area, with claimed the lives of 14 casualties at least including 5 children under the age of eighteen and 4 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in raids carried out by unidentified warplanes so far, and in is not known whether they belong to the Coalition or are they were Russian warplanes, they targeted al-Tayba area located in the eastern stretch of Al-Mayadeen city, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, This coincided with an exchange of roles observed by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights between the International Coalition and the Russians. Specifically, the forces of International Coalition have halted their raids on the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah and parts of the northwestern countryside of Deir Ezzor, handing the task over to the Russian warplanes which have carried out tens of air raids targeting villages under the control the “Islamic State” organization in the southern bank of the Euphrates, which extend from the east of Hwijat Shnan until the border with Deir Ezzor, since the 18th of July 2017. These raids have caused a massive displacement of tens of civilian families, who were forced to flee as a result of the intensity of the bombing and the constant destruction that inflicts on the area, under the pretext of “fighting the Islamic State organization”.
