ISIS loses about 6000 square kilometers during the first month of the 4th year of its “Caliphate” declaration
Death toll of victims of ISIS executions decreases with its successive collapse within the Syrian territory
The “Islamic State” organization completed the first month of the fourth year of the declaration of its “Caliphate State”, since the 29th of June 2017 until the 29th of July 2017, ISIS finished this month with a decrease in the bloodshed of the Syrian people, and some of the causes of this decrease were its successive defeats by its opponents who share contact lines with it, from the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian parties, and the Syria Democratic forces supported by the US Special Forces.
The “Islamic State” organization which used to control more than 45500 square kilometers of the Syrian territory with a percentage of 24.60% of its geographical area, has lost 5947 square kilometers in the 1st month of the 4th year of its “Caliphate”, with a percentage of 13.1% of the geographical area of the Syrian territory, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the loss of organization for 312 square kilometers with a percentage of 0.7% of the total of what it has lost this month to the Syria Democratic forces, which are supported by the International Coalition, it has lost 5635 square kilometers with a percentage of 12.4% for the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, out of its total loss this month.
This collapse and loss of thousands of square kilometers of its controlled areas in Syria were accompanied by a decline in the pace of executions in its controlled areas, where it seeks to win the people in its areas and enroll them in its ranks, to repel the advancement of the attacking forces, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented during the 37th month of declaration of the “Islamic State” organization for the “Caliphate State”, the execution of 15 persons in its controlled areas in Syria, the executions were carried out in the provinces of Al-Raqqah, Deir Ezzor and the Syrian Desert in the period between the 29th of June 2017 until the 29th of July 2017.
Where the Observatory documented the execution of 8 Syrian citizens, 2 members of the “Islamic State” organization and 5 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
The executions were carried out in accordance with the following charges: “cursing god, working for the Nusayri regime and working for atheist Kurds and factions”
Raising to 4895, the number of civilians, fighters, members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them and ISIS members who were executed during 37 month since the declaration of its “Caliphate” in the 29th of June 2014, until the morning of today 29th of July 2017.
Where 2720 civilian citizens were executed, including 104 children and 148 women, they were executed by shooting, beheading, stoning, throwing off high place or burning in the provinces of Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Deir Ezzor, al- Raqqa, al-Hasakah, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, including 3 massacres carried out by the organization in the provinces of Deir Ezzor, Aleppo and Hama, and among the casualties the activist in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Jawdat al-Rabbah aka “Abu Islam”. Also the organization executed more than 930 Arab Sunni citizens from the clan of al-Sh’aytat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and 223 Kurdish civilian citizen killed by the organization by opening fire on them and by white arm in the city of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) and the village of Barkh Botan in the southern countryside of the city, and 46 civilian citizen executed by the organization in Al-Mab’oujeh village which is inhabited by citizens of Ismailia, Sunni and Alawite communities in the eastern countryside of Salamiyyeh city, they were burned, slaughtered and shot, and also 85 including 10 children and 8 citizen women from the families of the gunmen loyal to the regime and NDF executed by the organization in al-Bogeleyyah area in Deir Ezzor.
Also 356 fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions, Fath al-Sham Front (al-Qaeda organization in the Levant) and YPG who were executed by the organization of the “Islamic State” after capturing them in the clashes which are taking place between the organization and the mentioned factions or of who were arrested at checkpoints for the organization in its controlled areas.
Also the “Islamic State” organization executed 538 of its own members, some of them on charges of “Ghuluww (it is an act of extremism and is against Sharia in Islam where the person ascribe a divine characteristics to Islamic figures or another person), spying for foreign countries, cooperating with the Crusader Alliance, attempting to escape, escaping during the battel and attempting to defect “, and most of them were executed after being arrested by the organization when they were trying to return to their countries.
The Organization also executed 1279 officers and members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, after capturing them in the clashes or arresting them at ISIS checkpoints in ISIS controlled areas.
And 2 Turkish soldiers executed by the “Islamic State” organization by “burning them” after being captured in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.
We in the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, despite of the killing threats we received from the “Islamic State” and all killers in Syria, we re-call the UN Security Council to work in seriously, to stop the crimes and violations committed against the Syrian people by the “Islamic state” and the regime of Bashar al-Assad, and all of whom committed these crimes.
