The “Islamic State” organization detonates a car bomb in an area where journalists and activists are present and leaves big number of injured people in the first neighborhood controlled by the organization in the grand battle of al-Raqqa

Reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the “Islamic State” organization blew up at least one booby-trapped vehicle in al-Mashlab neighborhood in the eastern outskirts of the city of al-Raqqa, the first neighborhood controlled by the “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces in the grand battle of al-Raqqa which has started on the 6th of June 2017, and the reliable sources asserted to the Syrian Observatory that the bombing targeted an area in which activists and journalists were gathered to cover the battle of control of al-Raqqa city, which caused a large number of injuries, and caused serious material damage to the area, while some of the injured suffer serious injuries, which may cause causalities.
