After they almost finished destroying the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah… Russian warplanes start destroying the western countryside of Deir Ezzor causing the death of 15 citizens of two families
Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: The number of casualties in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor is still increasing as a result of the renewed shelling by warplanes, it rose to 15 people at least, including children, documented by the SOHR in a massacre in Al-Tabani town which is located in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, and adjacent to the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, and the casualties are 12 citizens of one family, in addition to three citizens of another family, all of them were killed in the massacre which is carried out by warplanes weren’t known whether they are Russian, while the number of casualties may increase due to the presence of injuries in serious cases, and the gas resulted in injuring some other people, in addition to the destruction of citizens’ property, public facilities and infrastructure.
These raids came as part of the escalation by warplanes on the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, after the Russian warplanes and warplanes of the regime forces destroyed large parts of the remaining section under the control of the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah, near the southern banks of the Euphrates River, where there are no places remained for the organization’s presence except the city of Madan and a number of nearby villages and spread on the southern bank of the Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that Russian warplanes, the regime forces’ warplanes and helicopters, carried out dozens of strikes by missiles and explosive barrels, which targeted Madan city and the villages of Al-Khamaysyah, Al-Jaber, Qebbat Al-Buhamd and Maghlat Saghira and of which extended between the administrative border of Al-Raqqah and the western countryside of Deir Ezzor on the southern banks of the Euphrates River, in an attempt by the regime forces and the Russians to force the “Islamic State” organization to withdraw from the area, in order to advance into it and end the presence of the organization from the southern banks of the Euphrates River and the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah except a mountainous area of the extension of the strategic mountain of Al-Beshri and its vicinity, these intensive strikes and artillery which is accompanied by them, coincided with violent clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and members of the “Islamic State” organization on the other in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqah.
