Convoy of displaced people of Qalamoun and Arsal reaches the outskirts of the countryside of Hama, and preparations are underway to hand over the captives of the Lebanese Hezbollah and the entry of the buses to Idlib
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that the convoy of the displaced persons of the Lebanese Jurud Falita and Arsal arrived at the Sa’an crossing in the eastern countryside of Hama city, on the road between Salmiyah, Sheikh Hilal and Ithriyah. The convoy stopped in the area to complete logistical procedures regarding the entry of the buses and ambulances which are carrying about 8,000 displaced persons, including hundreds of fighters in Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham and their family members. Sources suggested to the Syrian Observatory that the entry process will be through the movement of a group of buses from the regime-held area, where the convoy is currently stopped, when a captive of Hezbollah is exchanged in return for the entry of each batch of busses, which will not be more than 5 or 6 batches, where prisoners of the Lebanese Hezbollah who were captivated in 2015 and 2016 during battles with the factions and Hayaat Tahrir al-Sham in the central and north of Syria, will be handed over.
