Warplanes target Eqayrbat and the eastern countryside of Hama with ongoing fighting in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah

Hama province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: Warplanes carried out several raids on areas in the villages of Abu Hbeilat, Dakila, Salba, Jannah al-Alabawi and other areas in Eqayrbat Township, which is controlled by the “Islamic State” organization in the eastern countryside of Hama, and there were no information about injuries, while violent clashes are still ongoing between the regime forces and their allied militiamen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalists against members of  the “Islamic State” organization in areas in the eastern countryside of Salamiyah, in an attempt by the regime forces to advance at the expense of the organization and reduce its controlled areas, in preparation for expelling the organization from tens of villages under its control in the eastern countryside of Hama.

The SOHR published yesterday that the regime force received military reinforcement in the countryside of Salamiyah city, in light of the military operation the regime forces intend to escalate in the eastern countryside of Hama against ISIS to end its presence in the area, which will in turn end its presence in the whole province. The SOHR also documented the death of at least 16 members of ISIS during the violent shelling and clashes between both parties within the past 24 hours.

 

In a related context, two fighters of the rebel factions were killed by the regime forces and their allied militiamen, who opened fire on their positions in the northern countryside of Hama, while the regime forces shelled areas of agricultural land on the eastern outskirts of al-Lataminah town in the northern countryside of Hama, causing material damage, and there is no information on casualties.
