Fighters of one of the rebel factions shot a commander in one of the Brigades operating in Lattakia Mountains, leaving him seriously injured
Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: gunmen attempted to murder the commander of Al-Sahel Sector in Al-Horriyyah Brigade by opening fire on a car he was riding on his way back from positions of the Brigade on Turkman Mountain heading to Bdama town in the western countryside of Jisr Al-Shughur, leaving him seriously injured. The fighters of Al-Sham Corps were accused of shooting one of the commanders in Al-Horriyyah Brigade, because of a previous dispute over the deployment of positions and sites. Tensions persist between Al-Horriyyah Islamic Brigade and Al-Sham Corps, amid fears of the eruption of an internal fighting in the area. Information was reported about clashes between Al-Sham Corps and Al-Horriyyah Islamic Brigade as a result of a dispute over the positions of the latter in the northern countryside of Lattakia. Warplanes also threw baskets on Kafriya and al-Fu’aa towns, inhabited by Shiite citizens in the northeast countryside of Idlib.
