As the missile shelling continues on Damascus and its Eastern Ghouta… the regime forces are advancing in the battles east of the capital and Ein Tarma

The regime forces continue their heavy shelling on Ein Tarma town and its outskirts in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus and other areas in Juber neighborhood east of the city, rising to at least 56, the number of missiles believed to be ground-to-ground launched by the regime forces on both areas since the midnight of Wednesday – Thursday until now, amid the continued and violent clashes taking place between the regime forces and their allied militiamen against fighters of al-Rahman Corps in areas in Juber neighborhood and Ein Tarma area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces managed to achieve strategic advancement in the vicinity of Sunbol gas station, and after destroying big parts of the gas station, the regime forces managed to advance to a house near the gas station, and the clashes are accompanied by violent and heavy shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, amid an exchange of targeting on the contact lines, and there is information about a member of the regime forces got killed while others were injured in an ambush set up by al-Rahman Corps in Juber area, and if the regime forces managed to advance more and reach the housing area after Sunbol gas station, they will be able to overlook large parts of Ein Tarma town.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the clashes are still taking place between the regime forces supported by militiamen loyal to them on one hand, and the fighters of Al-Rahman Corps on the other, in areas in the valley of Ein Tarma and the vicinity of AlMotahalik AlJanobi (the Southern Bypass) in the western outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, amid shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that Ein Tarma town and Ein Tarma valley, which are located at the western outskirts of the eastern Ghouta, have been experiencing intensive shelling by the regime forces in conjunction with renewed violent clashes between Al-Rahman Corps on one hand and the regime forces and their allied militiamen on the other in areas in the vicinity of Almotahalik Aljanobi (the Southern Bypass) and Ein Tarma valley. Meanwhile, violent clashes broke out also in the areas of Al-Manasher and ‘Arefa in Jobar neighborhood, located at the eastern outskirts of Damascus, which is adjacent to Ein Tarma and Almotahalik Aljanobi, amid tens of shells fired by the regime forces on areas of clashes in Jobar neighborhood. Casualties arising from such clashes, which are still ongoing, were reported at both sides.
