Renewed airstrikes on areas in the eastern countryside of Hama and the regime forces advance in south of the road of Resafa – Athriya

Hama province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: areas in the agricultural lands of the town of Mork in the northern countryside of Hama were shelled by the regime forces, causing material damage, while the warplanes carried out several airstrikes on areas in the village of Suha and Aqirbat district and its vicinity in the eastern countryside of Hama, which is controlled by the “Islamic State” organization. There were no information about casualties, and the clash areas in the eastern countryside of Hama are witnessing shelling and an exchange of targeting between the regime forces and the “Islamic State” organization, and there is no information about injuries so far.

In a related context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the violent clashes has been renewed between the regime forces backed by their allied militiamen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against members of the “Islamic State” organization in the northeastern countryside of Salmiyah, near the road of Athiryah – al-Resafa, following an attack by the regime forces for the third day in a row, through which the regime forces managed to advance in the area and control hills and positions they lost during repel attacks of the organization in the area, and the clashes are accompanied with heavy shelling by the regime forces and raids of warplanes on the clash area, causing casualties in the ranks of both sides.
