Casualties in shelling on Deir Ezzor and Bab al-Hawa crossing close its gates before the Syrian Pilgrims

Deir Ezzor province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: warplanes carried out several raids on areas in the city of Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and there were no information about casualties, while the International Coalition’s warplanes dropped leaflets on al-Kasra town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, in which they demanded ISIS to “surrender as the battle is coming to an end”. The Syrian Observatory also received information from reliable sources that the organization arrested several young men from al-Quriyah town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, most of them are former fighters in the rebel factions and they were taken to unknown destination. While the SOHR learned that ISIS intended to build blockades near the entrance of al-Shuhail town and near the village of Al-Zer in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. Two civilians and one member of the regime forces were killed in shelling by the “Islamic State” organization yesterday on areas in Al-Joura neighborhood which is controlled by the regime forces.

Aleppo province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: explosive bullets  heavily fell on areas in the neighborhood of Aleppo Jadidah, which is controlled by the regime forces, causing material damage, and there were clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces against members of the Islamic and rebel factions operating “Euphrates Shield” Forces backed by Turkey in the vicinity of the village of Mar’naz in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and the sporadic clashes are accompanied by an exchange of shelling in the vicinity of al-Zahra neighborhood west of Aleppo, and they are accompanied by the fall of explosive bullets on areas in the neighborhood, amid shelling by the regime forces on areas in the vicinity of al-Larimon village north of Aleppo.

In a related context, reliable sources reported to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the Turkish authorities at Bab al-Hawa border crossing between Idlib and Iskenderun prevented the entry of pilgrims from the Syrian side to its territory, who have passports issued by the opposition coalition, and the same sources told the Observatory that the officials of Bab al-Salama crossing suggested the Syrian pilgrims from Syria to Turkish territory through Bab al-Salama crossing, on condition that the passport holder should not be required for Interpol regardless to the party issuing the passport whether the Syrian regime or the opposition coalition.
