A group of members of the “Islamic State” organization carries out an attack on two areas of the regime forces about 50 km away from the city of Homs
Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that violent clashes took place during the last night between the regime forces supported by gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and the “Islamic State” organization on the other, in the areas of Maksar al-Hesan and Jeb Al-Jarrah in the eastern countryside of Homs, following an attack by a group of the members of the organization in the area which is inhabited by a majority of citizens of the Alawite community, the clashes accompanied by shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, and confirmed information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.
