Fighting continues east of mountain and field of Sha’er and regime forces continue their attempts to achieve more advancement in the area

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: warplanes bombed places in the vicinity of Hmimeh area at the administrative border between Homs and Deir Ezzor, in conjunction with clashes between regime forces and gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities on one hand, and ISIS on the other, in the vicinity of Hmimeh area after regime forces managed today to hold their control in the area and fortify them against the attacks by the organization, in which SOHR published this morning that the clashes were concentrated in the vicinity of Hmimeh area, where regime forces managed to hold points of their advancement after taking the control previously on Hmimeh area, which witnessed in the past days and weeks violent attacks by ISIS, in which the elements of the organization managed to kill and injure dozens of members of regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, while the bodies of a number of them were pulled and hung in areas controlled by ISIS in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

In the same context, violent clashes are taking place between regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and The members of ISIS on the other, in areas west of the field and mountain of Sha’er in the eastern countryside of Homs, in continuation with the attempt by regime forces to achieve more advancement in the area, which is besieged by regime forces, after they advanced hours ago and managed to control the hills, heights and positions used to be controlled by the organization.
