Renewed escalations on areas in the northern countryside of Homs result in casualties and the regime forces shell two villages in Hama countryside
Homs Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a young man was shot dead by one of the regime’s snipers at the northern outskirts of Al-Rasten city in the northern countryside of Homs. The regime forces also shelled this morning areas in Talbesa city and Al-Ghantou town in the northern countryside of Homs, causing injuries. In addition, several mortar shells were dropped at dawn on areas in the regime-controlled Qanyat Al-‘Asi village in the northern countryside of Homs. The shelling was accompanied by clashes between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and the rebel and Islamic factions on the other in Jaboureen area in the same countryside.
Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces shelled areas in the vicinity of Al-Zakat village in the northern countryside of Hama, causing material damages. No casualties have been reported so far. The regime forces also shelled an area in Al-Sayad village, which is also located in the northern countryside of Hama. Likewise, no casualties were reported.
